公開シンポジウム「フランス・日本シンポジウム：エネルギーの将来のための
先端材料科学 エネルギー生産・貯蔵のための高信頼性・耐久性・安全性の
材料に向けて」の開催について（ご案内）
英語名称：France-Japan Symposium on Advanced Materials for Energy
Future:Towards reliable, durable and safe materials for energy
production and Storage

（開催趣旨）
エネルギー政策転換に向けた国際的な動向下、フランスと日本は最適なエネルギー
ミックスを模索している。従来型エネルギーと代用エネルギーを適切に組み合わせ
たエネルギーミックスにより、環境保全を確保しながらエネルギー需要を満たす必
要がある。安全、かつ高い競争力と持続性を有する最適なエネルギーミックスを実
現するには、（１）熱エネルギー利用技術の改良、及び（２）信頼性の高い再生可
能エネルギーの開発・集配・貯蔵、という２つの方向に向けた研究およびイノベー
ションの努力が必要となる。
こうしたエネルギー技術には、極端な条件下（高圧、高温、及び腐食性環境）でも
使用可能かつ長寿命の高効率材料とともに、高信頼性・安全性の構造物や施設が要
求される。研究開発活動の命運は、環境に配慮するという制約にも適応でき、持続
可能な技術面でのソリューション（解決策）につながる新規材料の設計にかかって
いる。
今回の第一回フランス－日本シンポジウムでは、（１）エネルギー政策転換という
状況下におけるフランスと日本のエネルギー政策、（２）従来型エネルギーおよび
再生可能エネルギー技術の将来にとって要ともなる先端材料、という２のテーマに
関する議論を行うべく、エネルギー及びエネルギー関連材料の専門家を招へいする。
